I was not particularly happy about the assembly of the product; the diagrams and youtube videos which show the hookup for this exact model are missing the elbow adapters for the pneumatic hookups. Thankfully, you can remove one of the existing tube connections with a little elbow grease and make a direct connection. I called the company about this and they pointed me to the right direction, so props for good, prompt customer service. Yes, you just bought a $$$ luxury chair, but you can confidently assemble with this small change in procedure. The shoulder arms on this chair need to be secured via three screws on each side. The metal flanges have two pegs which are inserted into the chair itself, which lets you know you have lined it up as optimally as possible. Unfortunately, only one of the three screws actually matches up to the metal flange itself (the bottom one). This is true for both sides of the chair, so it didn’t seem like a one-off manufacturing error, rather, it seemed like there were multiple iterations of the chair/attachments, and I received a mismatched set. After lots of swearing and reading the directions again and again, I ended up securing the bottom screw within the flange, using the oversized washer to secure the middle screw entirely outside of the flange, but the top flange was completely obscured, no matter how creative you get. With the two screws in place for each shoulder attachment, in addition to the two positioning pegs aligned perfectly seems to be sufficient. With all of the above frustration out of the way, I promised to review after I’ve used the chair for a few months… it is a dream! The stretch program is the best, and the feet massage function is very thorough. I use this chair pretty much every day. The heating elements are a nice touch, too. We’ve had lots of guests over since we’ve gotten the chair, and everyone really seems to love it!

We are in love with this chair! Purchased it for my husbands birthday and each of us or both of us have had a massage every day since. It was delivered on time, we paid for the professionally assembly through Amazon. John was our tech (Silent Labors in the VA area) and was absolutely phenomenal. The chair is comfortable, easy to use and provides many features–still working our way through them. Both of us are approx 5’10” and the chair fits our different body shapes comfortably. My husband loves the blue tooth feature and is recovering from a relatively minor car accident a couple months ago.FYI, even with its space saving size it was unable to fit through the doors of our older home upon delivery. Once unboxed (WATCH THE VIDEO), we were able to lift the legs and wheel it into the appropriate room easily prior to the arms being assembled. I feel confident that it will be easy to move again when necessary. We are a military family and move quite often. Also, we received a discounted foot massager with our purchase. Unfortunately, it wasn’t working properly upon delivery–BUT Kahuna has had INCREDIBLE customer service so far!! And we received our replacement this morning. We are happy with the chair AND the customer service!

I’ve had this chair for several weeks now. Installation was pretty straightforward, although instructions were not great. At first it worked great. But pretty quickly, the “knead” function stopped working. It still rolled up and down, and did the thumping, but not kneading. So we called customer service. We got through pretty quickly, and the rep. Told us to take off the back (unscrewing a few screws), and find the belt for the rollers that had slipped off. We did that, and it workrd. For a few days. Then in the middle of a massage, I felt the rollers stop again.Bow, the fix seems easy, however it took my son and I over an hour to find and unscrew the screws that holdthe back to the chair. The worst was getting the screws back on. The belt itself was relatively easy to put back where it belongs, however it was easy to see why it came off: nothing other than a few ridges to keep it in place, and it# a very narrow belt.So now it’s not only not kneading, but it’s somehow a bit lopsided, with one taller being higher up than the other, and it does a funny “clunk” when it hits areas like my scapula or pelvis. Not painful, but distracting, and certainly not how one would want it to feel.Other than that, I found the shoulder pads to be in a funny place (can’t really adjust), and really quite narrow. And the foot massage is not very comfortable. Nits not only that it’s just one roller, and doesn’t move (other than rotating), but the back of the slots where you put your legs is not comfortable at all, with some sort of bar that pushes against your calves (not in a massage way). You can avoid that by positioning your legs differently, but then the air cushions press your legs in an uncomfortable way when they inflate. Hard to find the perfect leg position.I’m going to call customer service again to see if there is a fix for the belt that keeps coming loose. If this were a smaller item,I’d be returning it. But I’m afraid returning this won’t be a simp,e matter, so we’ll try to fix it. But that’s a lot of money to pay for something with this many problems.

OK, I’ve had this chair for 60 days. First and foremost, if you were looking for a soft gentle massage this isn’t it, in any setting. I am a male exterior contractor and love a aggressive massage. It took me a little while to get used to this beauty. I am now in love with it and couldn’t see my life without one. It is very comfortable to sit in, The kneading, tapping and rolling settings are Phenomenal A+++ .The foot rollers weren’t Designed to move from anywhere but the center of your foot. However, you can move your feet to get different areas. Foot rollers are intense they still get a solid B. The heat in the legs only works when in compression mode and gets HOT! kinda sucks. Heat in the back I’d give a Solid B+ The compression in the legs, arms and shoulders are intense, overall function could be better, but again a solid B. I believe I got a great deal for $2000 And couldn’t see my life without one of these babies in our family.

Looking around for an affordable massage chair without sacrificing major features (good pressure, variety of programs, L or hybrid track, specific/ customizable arms, legs, back, shoulder, neck massages, tilt (zero gravity)) and was captivated by the glowing reviews (on Amazon and off Amazon) of LM6800. When about to order the LM6800, saw this newer LM6800S with limited reviews (Since it is new on Amazon), did more research off Amazon, concluded that this IS indeed LM6800 plus (improvements). Best part, Amazon has a $150 off coupon and somehow this was Tax Free for me (the other one charged tax), backed with Amazon 30 day return policy, “what do I have to lose”? (I thought – except husband is the one who was to put that together =)). Chair arrived as scheduled, Husband put that together in no time. Worked like a charm. Everyone is happy. Worked just like all the other reviews of LM6800. Yes foot roller is strong, but you can always switch it off, or you can put extra padding (or thicker socks). Only 2 minor points: 1) I am 5’2″ (husband 6′) and I feel like I need another inch or 2 to fully benefit the chair. It scans my body but it missed my neck by a couple of inches. minor issue since even I have tried more expensive chairs, and similar things happen. This chair can do specific areas/ massage type which solved my height ( lack of) issue. 2) Arm massage has these “acupressure points” ended up “stamping” onto my arms, now I keep a thin blanket on the chair and lined the arm massage channels to prevent that. Massage Chair is a staple in many Asian families’ homes and I have had my fair share of trying out Asian and American massage chairs. I am very proud of this LM6800S purchase. If you are seeking a legit massage chair (great pressure and features that I was seeking), yet affordable and with full warranty, Look No Further! You will NOT regret buying this. Enjoy ! (and Great Job Kahuna ~!! )
