The chair itself appears to be pretty well built. Be prepared for a lot of recycling after unboxing it. The reason for the low comfort rating is the left foot airbag basically crushed my foot, to the point where it still hurts after a few days of not using the chair. I don’t know if it’s a defect, but not being able to control the air pressure is a bit of a downer. The controls are also not intuitive. The automatic modes are fine (ie select the node and press go). The manual mode is very non-intuitive. There is a very specific order in which you need to select things or it just does some pre-programmed stuff. Would I buy it again, probably if the two previous issues were addressed.

My husband is 6′ 4″ 320 pounds. This chair fits him quit nicely. He can’t use the hand part b/c his shoulders are too wide, but the height and overall size works very well for him. We wanted a big and tall massage chair with out spending $5,000+. This chair is a great option for any size adult who wants a great massage with out over spending. The remote is easy to use, I would say I wish the chair went back to upright once the massage is over. The setting give you a wide range of massage options, and intensities. Love the heated back feature. Was relatively easy to put together. Only took one person about 30 minutes. Be prepared to have a giant pallet left on your driveway! Also get help to move it. Will take two strong men to carry the pieces to their final destination. You won’t want to move it after you put it together.

I researched for months and months… I compared capability’s/ price value. My husband is 6’3 almost 300 lbs and I’m 5’3 180lbs. So we aren’t little and we both like deep tissue.. this thing is great!!! I use it DAILY!!! Every time I’m in this chair I think “man, I need to go write a review!”. I hate writing reviews but I know they are helpful when you’re on the buying end sooo here I am letting u know it’s definitely worth the buy!!!!

So, I cannot tell you how nervous I was to purchase an item of this cost, that is so dependent upon the experience of it’s use, without ever being able to see, touch and try it out. However, given that there was only a couple of brands in stores locally, I felt like my experience was limited enough and that the reviews were good enough that I’d take the chance. At this point, about 45 days in, I am very pleased with the chair. I provides a massage that I and my entire family enjoy, and the product seems to be high quality and the appearance of the chair is nice enough that I’m not embarrassed to have it sitting out (though I’d prefer it didn’t have a name on the side as that does cheapen the look). Having used the chair daily, I notice a number of things that do make me question it’s operation, though I’m not sure if I’d have similar thoughts with some of the other chairs I’ve tried in brick and mortar stores if I used them everyday and had the chance to be more critical. In particular, the chair seems a bit noisier then I remember from chairs I’ve tried in Brookstone for example. It’s not so noisy that I notice it when someone else is in the chair, but I do hear some creaking and popping at certain points. Not a deal breaker, but it does make me wonder. The biggest down side, which has been referenced in several reviews is that the remote is horrid. The automated programs are good, some better than others, but their is almost no ability to customize an automated program, nor to create a custom program that provides and variability, and learning how to use the remote is trial and error at best. Add it that the buttons don’t light up and it makes it nearly impossible to adjust if you are using in a darkened room (which I do to relax). Further, the chair, for some insane reason, does not return to a default sitting position when most of the programs end. So, if you are in the zero gravity, and the 20 minute program ends, the chair turns off with you still laying back in the zero gravity position. Meaning, you must turn the chair back on and manually return to the default sitting position. Not the end of the world, but an obvious design error that should have been easily fixed and provided as a standard feature. I also find that the head and neck pillow really gets in the way of the neck massage, so I’ve removed it. Again, I found a fix, but it seems silly that the designers wouldn’t have thought of it. Others have complained about the strength of the foot massage, but I LOVE it. All in all, I am very satisfied with the chair, though I do sometimes wonder if I could have got a better chair for the same money…. Without the ability to try them all side by side and made a direct comparison, I think I did well and got a fair deal. I do really enjoy the chair, and use it every single day that I’m home.

Fantastic massage chair for bigger people. I am a retired 9 year veteran on the NFL and I’m 6’ 3” and 265 lbs so I was concerned about getting a chair that would be to small but this one ended up being the perfect size. It has many great programs that I utilize on the daily basis. I had the chair assembled through amazon and the tech who came to do it did a great job in a timely manner. I recommend getting that service as well. They carried the heavy chair upstairs to my theater and assembled it nicely in the corner. If you are on the fence about getting this chair or another I highly recommend you pick the big kahuna.
